WELL DONE TO YOU ALL

Val Godefroy, Crawley based driving instructor has several messages for her pupils; “Paige Dwyer has passed her driving test, it may not have been her 1st attempt but as rewarding for her and myself. What can I say about Paige! Well she was always smiling before the lesson, usually laughing by the time she got in the car and would continue throughout the lesson. I will miss the College gossip!  Was even smiling when she got the lesson time right but was just the wrong day! I think a Sat Nav would be the perfect gift as only Paige can get lost in Broadfield when she lives in Ifield a 5min drive away. A helicopter crew would have been bemused to see the car going round all the roundabouts on the estate several times!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have told her to ring me if it happens again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, Jessica has passed 1st time with 3 faults. She only started to drive in May but has been consistent with all her lessons working harder as we progressed resulting in a first time pass. No longer has to rely on mum for lifts and can work longer if required. Yes we did have a laugh as well as some shocking driving by other motorists. Well Done

And Holly passed her test 1st time from automatic to manual. Only had 5 lessons and was so nervous. Although has been driving 15 years had to go back to all the correct procedures for the test, on top of learning gears and clutch control. Well done.
Also Chanel from Broadfield, who has been having lessons on and off for quite a while due to time off for exams, work and Uni. Passed 1st time after having a break for a while and only had 2 extra lessons last week to help her through. She has been fun to teach and although may not get a car for a little while, is over the moon about passing 1st time.

Again well done and good luck at Uni”.

PRAISE FOR L PLATES INSTRUCTOR

Congratulations to Katherine Campbell from Eastbourne, who passed on the 5th August. She said “learning to drive was something I never thought that I was capable of doing, even the thought of it used to scare me-I assumed I would be a bad driver or that it would take about ten years to accomplish! So my driving instructor would have to be phenomenally good to pass me (as well as have the patience of a saint and the ability to calm me down when I m hyperventilating  over the clutch)! The minute I stepped into the car, John Eacher put me at ease and most importantly made me laugh, which in turn enabled me to relax and with each lesson I grew in confidence, as John made me realise that I might actually have a shot at this.I had a lot of large gaps between lessons due to caring for my terminally ill mother, but I never felt pressure from my instructor during our lessons ,he did not get annoyed or impatient with me in fact his ability to remain calm in any situation my driving put us in(and often make me laugh at the same time ) meant that I actually managed to pass in under a year which is nothing short of a miracle!
I would recommend L-Plates to anyone who is considering learning to drive, because if I can pass then anyone can!"
